Interested in becoming a GRAVA member?

Our Membership Year is August 1 through July 31. Annual fee is $75. Becoming a member gives you access to a full year of connection, learning, and fun!

Our annual membership drive is open from June 1 through December 31.

If you join after December, or prefer not to commit to a full membership, you can still be part of the experience! Guest passes are available for $10 per event. Purchase a guess pass.

GRAVA is a professional membership organization promoting excellence in volunteer engagement in the Greater Richmond area through professional development, networking, and advocacy. Please join us as we connect and learn together on a monthly basis!

The membership year is August 1 through July 31. Annual dues are $75 a year and include the following benefits:

  • Free monthly programs

    • Meetings are normally held on the second Thursday of the month, with the exception of August, October, December, and July. There is no meeting held in August. In lieu of the October meeting, we participate as a hybrid host site for a conference and encourage attendance. In place of a meeting in December we organize a holiday gathering, and in July we celebrate with our annual end-of-year awards ceremony and social.

    • Meetings are normally held from 8:30am to 10:30am. The first 30 minutes are reserved for networking and light refreshments, followed by updates and then the training workshop presentation.

    • Training workshop presentations are lead by invited guest speakers who are local experts on topics relevant to volunteer management and CVA competencies.

  • Scholarships for professional development training and materials

  • Discount to annual hybrid conference

  • Access to our newsletter, website, social media, and members-only directory to facilitate info-sharing and partnerships

  • Assistance earning CVA credential

  • Eligibility for the Volunteer Engagement Professional Award and Rising Star Award
